Agritech program 15th – 23rd May 2012
ISRAEL
May 15th:
Depart Nairobi by Ethiopian airlines at 18:00 hrs via Addis Ababa to arrive Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport at 02:40 A.M where you will be met by our local tours representative and transferred to the hotel in Jerusalem to rest and freshen up.
May 16th:
After breakfast, celebrate Mass at the St. John Church and drive to Tel Aviv to Visit the Agritech Exhibition the whole day.
Agritech Israel 2012, the 18th International Agricultural Technology Exhibition, is one of the world’s most important exhibitions in the field of agricultural technologies. The exhibition will be held from May 15th – 19th, 2012 at the Israel Trade Fairs and Convention Centre in Tel Aviv.
May 17th:
Celebrate Mass at the St. John the Baptist Church after breakfast and drive to Tel Aviv to the Agritech Exhibition the whole day.
May 18th:
After breakfast, drive to Mt. of Olives, for a wonderful view of the Old City of Jerusalem. Walk along the Palm Sunday Road to visit the Dominus Flevit Church, Garden of Gethsemane, Celebrate Mass. Continue to all Nations Church, and Cross the Kidron Valley to visit the church of St. Peter in Gallicantu built on the site of the house of the high priest Caiaphas. Proceed to nearby Mt. Zion to visit the Room of the Last Supper and the Tomb of King David. After lunch break drive to Bethlehem. Visit the Church of Nativity and the Shepherd’s Fields and Milk Grotto then return to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.
May 19th:
After breakfast drive to visit the Old City of Jerusalem the Pools of Bethesda where Jesus cured the Paralytic man. Visit the Church of St. Anne Ecce Homo Arch, walk along Via Dolorosa, starting from Lithstrotus following the Stations of the Cross to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Oriental Bazaar. Celebrate mass in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. After lunch, stop to visit the Cardo in the Jewish Quarter and return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
May 20th:
Drive after breakfast to the Garden of Gethsemane church to Celebrate Mass and continue to the Dead-Sea, which is the lowest point on earth. Have time to deep and float in these special heavy waters. Enjoy buying dead-Sea minerals and cosmetics. Drive to visit Qumran caves where Dead-Sea Scrolls were found. Visit the Masada ruins a thrilling site that gives valuable insight into the background history of bible events. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
May 21st:
Depart from Jerusalem through Jordan valley to the north, we will stop and visit an agriculture farm and after that continue to visit Nazareth, the Church of Annunciation, Celebrate Mass. Proceed to Cana the site of the first miracle where Jesus changed water to wine, continue to the baptism place in the Jordan River, and here you can renew your baptism vows. Dinner and overnight in Galilee.
May 22nd:
Full day tour in Galilee including boat ride on Sea of Galilee, visit Capernaum where Jesus began his preaching ministry, visit Tabgha where Jesus fed the multitudes with two fish and five loaves. Continue to the Mountain of Beatitudes, where Jesus taught the Sermon on the Mountain. Celebrate Mass. Dinner and Overnight in Tiberius.
May 23rd:
After breakfast drive to Haifa to Mt. Carmel where Prophet Elijah challenged the prophets of Baal, Celebrate Mass at Muhraka ,and continue to Caesarea. An ancient excavated city with many Roman and Crusader ruins. Transfer to the Airport for your flight back home.
